A fresh new film has just stepped onto the silver screen with an unprecedented all left handed cast!
No, literally the entire film is about a left-hand seeking some sort of revenge. The film is reminiscent of the nostalgia of an old 50's horror film, making you think and leaving you in a heap of confusion. When production company PleaseBringAPinapple was asked what did you intend to prove with this film they simply replied. "Its the Sinistral or left-handed individuals time in the limelight." I was just as confused you as you are now, so I caught up with actor and director, Ravynne Gilmore. I was able to sit down with her and ask a few questions. She, being far more long winded, was able to elaborate on what her production company attempted to say.
Rayehasablog: Lets talk about the title, The Sinstrials Revenge. Isn't there a word that's spelled wrong?
Ravynne Gilmore: I wouldn't say there is a misspelling more so a play on words. Throughout time Left-handedness was thought to be a sin and left-handed people had to face trails. So hence the name Sintrials in the place of Sinistral.
Rayehasablog: Why now, and what prompted you to make a movie about left-handedness?
Ravynne Gilmore:It is so much easier in many cultures and societies to be right handed, and I found that a humongous part of me longed to be left handed. Many friends and outside family members often ask me if I am left handed. As much as I would have enjoyed saying yes, I wasn't able to. So since I am not left handed I thought I would submerge myself it its culture, and look around.
Rayehasablog: What did you find?
Ravynne Gilmore:Left handed individuals predominately use the right hemisphere of their brain. The right side of the brain just like the left side controls the contrasting muscular movement. So left handed people use the right hemisphere of their brain which controls the left side of their body. The right side of the brain specializes in characteristics such as imagistic, intuitive, and holistically. The right hemisphere operates mathematics in perception of shapes/motions. The part of the brain that concentrates on language deals with intonation/emphasis, prosody, and contextual.
Rayehasablog: Oh, ok. So in laments terms?
Ravynne Gilmore: Haha, Left-handed people are underrated. They have a lot to offer, that we are not seeing.
Rayehasablog: So in a sense you think there is a divide between right and left handed people?
Ravynne Gilmore: I won't lie, I used to think there was this grand separation between the two however my opinion has changed drastically since my research. Now I have a different opinion, I think whether being right handed or left handed may seem opposing, at first. Even individual members both inside and out may see a conflict. However I see that the two subcultures can work in tandem quite well. Having the exclusivity and creativity of being left handed with the convenience and commonality of being predominately right handed. I think the two subcultures can mix well; there is actually a name for being both right handed and left handed; ambidextrous. I don’t believe being apart of these two cultures would cause tension, I believe the two cultures would actually go hand in hand, no pun intended. However only way this can be applicable is to do like my company said shed light on the left-handed.
Well whatever hand you choose to view the movie with, doesn't matter as long as you view the movie. The Sinstrails Revenge boasts entertainment, suspense, and possibly understanding.

My favorite Power Pop Rock Group, PARAMORE! I truly could of picked any song off their latest album 'Riot' to place on this countdown. The wonderfully crafted lyrics, musicality, and so darn catchy hooks makes for great conversation. That's What You Get reminds those with scorned hearts to TRUST ABSOLUTELY NO ONE ANYMORE! I think this is just a great energetic song. Trust me this song will have you dancing and crying at the same time! As the kids from Reading Rainbow would say "don't just take my word for it! Check it out!"
